RE Journals – Monarch Realty Partners conducts several multifamily deals in the Chicago MSA

Monarch Realty Partners has recently completed several Chicago-area multifamily transactions totaling more than $15 million, according to Bill Baumann, managing broker and principal at the Chicago-based real estate brokerage company. The transactions were located in suburban Evanston as well as the Bucktown, Rogers Park and Uptown neighborhoods of Chicago.
Baumann, along with principals Brian Semel and Mike Anguiano, brokered the $4,100,000 sale of 1518 Sherman Avenue in Evanston, a mixed-use building with 16 units. Also in Evanston, Semel was the sole broker in the $5,600,000 sale of 802-810 Clark Street and 1740 Sherman Avenue, two adjacent, mixed-use properties with 25 units.
Semel was the sole broker on two separate Chicago transactions: the $2,065,000 sale of at 16-unit apartment building at 1626 W. Sherwin Avenue in Rogers Park and the $2,760,000 sale of a 13-unit apartment building at 4886 N. Magnolia Avenue in Uptown. In Bucktown, Baumann represented the seller and Semel represented the buyer in the sale of two apartment buildings with seven units at 2145 W. Webster Avenue and 2144 W. Shakespeare Avenue.
